Do you want to build a completely new function within claims, debt management, and recovery, while being a key figure in a Nordic growth journey? Svensk Skadereglering is looking for a Senior Claims Recovery Manager who wants to take full responsibility for collection processes, accounts receivable, and debt recovery. Here, you combine operational work with strategic development to create real business value.

A role for you who wants to make a real impact
Svensk Skadereglering is on a clear growth path with the ambition to build a scalable Nordic operation. Here you will:
- Help create a new central function from scratch
- Work closely with the CEO and have significant authority in your area
- Influence how working methods, processes, and structures should look moving forward
- Become part of an organization where things happen – and where your decisions make a difference
The environment is characterized by high tempo, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a desire to do things better. The primary location is Örebro or Gävle, but some flexibility exists for the right candidate.
About the role
At Svensk Skadereglering, you will have a task that is as clear as it is exciting: to take ownership of the entire claims and recovery process and build something that does not yet fully exist. The role arises from a need to separate damage adjustment from claims management – to create efficiency, quality, and scalability. You will step in as an expert and enabler.
You will, among other things:
- Own, develop, and manage the entire claims and recovery process after the conclusion of damage adjustment
- Ensure efficient flows for claims, accounts receivable, payment follow-up, and collection
- Handle cases related to disputes, settlements, and payment plans
- Work with external partners such as collection agencies, the Swedish Enforcement Authority (Kronofogden), and legal representatives
- Build standardized and scalable processes for the Nordic operations
- Monitor KPIs and analyze results to improve recovery rates and lead times
- Contribute to digitalization and, in the long term, automation of processes
The role is both hands-on and development-oriented, with the goal of developing a strategic and Nordic function.
About you
We are looking for someone who wants to build, not just maintain. This is not a traditional collection or accounts receivable role. You need to thrive in an environment where not everything is in place – and where you can influence how things should become.
We believe you have:
- Several years of experience in claims management, recovery, regression, or similar
- Experience with collection processes and handling disputed claims
- A good understanding of financial flows and accounts receivable
- Experience working in complex flows with both volume and quality in focus
- Experience in developing processes, improving working methods, or streamlining flows
- The ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and trust-building, both in writing and verbally, even in claims and negotiation situations
- Very good Swedish and English skills
Meritorious experience:
- Collection, banking, finance, Swedish Enforcement Authority, or law-related activities
- Nordic organizations and processes
- Liability, insurance, contracting, or infrastructure
To succeed in the role, we see that you:
- Are structured, analytical, and have strong systems thinking
- Have the ability to go from idea to functioning process ("design to reality")
- Are business-minded and results-oriented
- Are confident in driving issues forward, even in complex or sensitive situations
- Have strong communication skills and can adapt messages to the recipient, from customer dialogues in sensitive cases to internal and external collaborations
- Thrive in an environment where you get to combine order and structure with development
